Jaws PDF Editor is a low cost application for opening, viewing or printing any PDF document, but user can't edit it.

This application allows the user to navigate by using bookmarks, to display page views of the PDF files with thumbnails, and to use hyperlinks with the PDF document.

It can insert itself into the Internet Browser and be set as the default PDF viewer, for making easier to handle PDF documents coming from the Web.

The application offers interesting tools such as rotating, inserting, deleting or eliminating pages, as well as those being reordered, to insert bookmarks, notes, reviews, "sticky note" comments, to highlight sections, to underline or strikeout paragraphs or phrases, etc.

Also, the application can assign document and file passwords, to avoid sensitive documents to be printed or copied.

May be the main feature of this PDF Editor is that is a low cost application, in comparison with Adobe Acrobat prices, that includes many options and security features for users to work with PDF files (beside editing those). It includes important actions such as to extract one page and save it as a new PDF document, for later merging operations.
Advantages
  • Low cost application, compared with Adobe Acrobat products.
Disadvantages
  • It doesn't allow to edit the PDF document.
